Its fascinating to see the transition America made from the upbeat optimism of the middle 60’s to the nihilism of the Viet Nam era, played out in the individual lives of three characters. But it’s the Viet Nam sequence that really made me realize that “Dead Presidents” was more than a run of the mill Hollywood flick. |
