And for a movie that apparently runs at such a break neck action packed speed it doesn't need characterization it relies pretty heavily on dialogue for all the exposition of the ludicrous last twist. |

| Forget DePalma and Hill, the fact that he has the audacity to dedicate it to Peckinpah, is so insulting to the man's work that I feel like tracking down Wayne Kramer cocks and making him watch Straw Dogs until he realizes he's not at all in the same league. What Peckinpah was cocks doing was intelligent and entertaining, what Kramer does is neither. The pace is so fast and the characters so one-demensional that even though all this seemingly cool shit cocks is going on I could give a shit because I don't care about what happens to anyone in this film. At several points I was hoping Oleg's stepfather would just beat his ass. Cameron Bright is the worst child actor ever. Karel Roden is actually a good actor he was the best part of the film, even though his character was just as flat as everyone else's. The movie basically consists of a series of scenes where Paul Walker yells at someone and possibly beats them up asking where his "gat" is. |
