The director tries to out-edit Tony Scott, which is just plain annoying. And the writer: well, each scene is one of three things: (1) Legitimately creative, (2) Pointlessly lyricss violent, whatever, or (3) ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN' HILARIOUS. The plot doesn't make sense and completely unravels in the end, but I would almost recommend it because of how unintentionally funny the movie is. The screening I was in, people were laughing literally every five minutes. |
